Product Overview

The Allen Brad-ley 1746-OV16 is an SLC 500 general purpose current sinking digital output module. The ladder logic programming on the 1746-OV16 can directly access the output values.

It has 16 output points that equate to 16 points per common; it operates at 10 to 50 Volts DC and the backplane current load is 270 mA at 5 Volts DC.

The maximum signal delay during the off-state is 1 millisecond, while it is around 0.1 milliseconds during on-state. The continuous current per point is 0.5 Amps at 30 degrees Celsius and 0.25 Amps at 60 degrees Celsius.

The maximum surge current per point is 1 Amp for 10 milliseconds. The 1746-OV16 has 0.388 Watts per point and a 1.4 Watt minimum for thermal dissipation and 7.60 Watts in total.

It is compatible with a1492 CABLE E. And has a removable terminal block that is 
compatible with the 1492-CABLE RTBB which has a #18 AWG conductor size and a blue color code.

The removable terminal block allows the user to easily access the wiring and make changes to it.
