Product Description

The APV400 intelligent valve positioner is based on the piezoelectric valve principle with HART communication. It converts the two wire 4~20mA control signal into pneumatic output to the actuator, which can be used for the control of pneumatic linear stroke or rotory stroke actuators, and drives the actuator to bring the valve to the position corresponding to the set value. This type of positioner has a compact design and a modular structural design, which is cost-effective. The self-tuning of the control parameters and the excellent adaptability of the positioner result in significant time savings and provide optimal control behavior.

Features
·  Pneumatic system: adopt intelligent positioning module imported from Germany to control the pneumatic actuator. The module utilizes piezoelectric technology to achieve the highest energy efficiency and lowest air consumption. Pneumatic systems are available in single and double acting versions with fail safe/fail last.
·  Fast Response and Precise Control: Adaptive predictive control algorithm for fast response and more precise control.
·  Self-tuning function: automatically find the lower limit and upper limit of the valve, optimize the valve control parameters, and improve the precision of valve control.
·  Display and operation: dot-matrix liquid crystal display, display content is more abundant. With 4 buttons, you can manually control the valve opening or make configuration settings locally.
·  Configuration function: It can set parameters such as split range, characteristic curve, travel range, travel direction, tight closure, dead zone, control parameters, digital input, alarm output, fault output, and so on.
·  Diagnostic Functions: Leakage detection, partial stroke test, upper limit and lower limit monitoring, pressure detection diagnosis, temperature diagnosis, stroke accumulation, number of direction changes, and number of piezoelectric runs.
·  Communication protocol: HART5 and HART7 bus protocols.
·  Digital input: one electrically isolated digital input, two dry contact inputs.
·  Digital Outputs: Digital outputs with galvanic isolation are used to output alarm/trouble messages.
·  Position feedback: The position feedback module with electrical isolation can output 4~20mA valve position feedback signal.
·  Pressure diagnostic function: Measurement and diagnosis of air source pressure, drive pressure 1 and drive pressure 2.
